Reflections
My first picture was taken right outside my house. It was pretty well thought out photo because it was a gloomy rainy day and you can see my dog in the window and his face totally matches the day. It turned out very well because the reflection looks as if it is right behind my dog. The next one was a puddle in my driveway with a tree over the top. It was hard to take because most of the puddles had no reflection it until I found the right one. The last one I like especially because of the bright red colored tree that I edited to make it pop and really be the center of the piece. It was on the same day as the others so the bright red tree really brightened up a gloomy photo.
Shadows
The shadows were a struggle for me because it is hard for me to be creative and find a piece that works. The first one was taken on a door in my house and I didn't want the shadow to just be a boring picture of me so I threw in a piece sign that faintly comes into the photo. In the next two photos I used my shooting pad with the bright light above to get shadows of the crossbar and my stick. The shadows were a big challenge for me but I thought they ended up pretty good.
