Mirror
I took this photo about 6-7 o'clock and I waited for the time so I could get the sun setting and get the very cool coloring in the reflection. This pond is important to me because me and my friends go back in the summer and fish. I try to portray a feeling of tranquility with the sunset and the calm pond with the white ducks you can somewhat see. It as difficult to take these a get different results with the short amount of time I had. I really liked how it turned out and I want to take more photos at this time.
Minty Fresh
I took this picture in my garden right after school. The reason I took these pictures it to capture the intricate details in the plant. By taking these photos I put a meaning behind of it of looking deeper into a person to see what they are really like because if you looked from a far you would just see the green leaves. I named it minty fresh because you could a refresher looking into the good of people. I liked the way these turned out and how the plant is much brighter then the back round so it is like a growing person.
Old Hours
I took these photos actually in the back yard of my neighbors house. I wanted to capture the scene because this plant was the only thing in its general vicinity which made it isolated. I took this right at the end of the school day just like the last but I do think it would have looked better at dusk. I am trying to portray a story with this photo actually. It's saying you need to be around people sometimes and can't always stay isolated so you don't end up looking like this plant.
McDonalds
Firstly, this photo is named McDonalds sole because that's the color of the plant. Now that we have got that out of the way, I took this right after the school and I actually really like that lighting with these photos. To be fair and 100% honest, I have zero idea of what I was trying to portray in this story, but for some odd reason it gives me a feeling of opportunity. This was a difficult set to take because there's not much you can do with a regular plant on a stand next to wall. My favorite part of this is the filter I put on it to really make it look like an abstract painting.
Trail of Thought
I took these at about 6-7 right as the sun was starting to set and I love the lighting especially in the first picture as you can see the bright sun poking through the clouds shining down on me. I was trying to portray the lesson of even though the path may look blurry, you have to follow it because it's made for you. That's also why I named it trail of thought. These turned out really well because its just a field of dead grass but the light really brings everything together.
